מאי קמ"ל תנינא חוט מאזנים של חנוני ושל בעלי בתים טפח קנה ומתנא שלה איצטריכא ליה דלא תנן

Our Rabbis taught: The strike must not be made of a gourd because it is light,<span class="x" onmousemove="('comment',' And does not strike well, causing loss to the seller.
